Salary and Superannuation Benefits 

Superannuation

Curtin offers great superannuation at 17%

Superannuation flexibility

Staff have the option to reduce their superannuation rate  and convert the remaining superannuation to salary

Salary rates & Future Increases

Salaries are determined by the current Enterprise Agreement. Current Salary Scales can be found on the Applicant Information page.

Salary Packaging

A variety of salary packaging options including novated leasing, parking and education expenses.

Flexible working arrangements

Curtin supports flexible ways of working. At Curtin, we encourage individuals and teams to achieve a balance between work and life outside of work. Curtin’s flexible ways of working include flexible working hours, part time hours and job share arrangements (subject to operational and team requirements).

Medical Centre

Also unique to Curtin University is an on campus Medical Centre, which is solely available for Staff and Students to utilise. Bulk billing options are available

Curtin Stadium fitness centre

The Curtin Stadium offers a variety of programs, fitness classes and team sports. Join Curtin’s Healthy Lifestyle Program, with up to 2 hours per week of paid time off to engage in university approved healthy lifestyle activities

Employee Assistance Program

Curtin employees have access to confidential assistance for counselling, wellbeing coaching, legal advice, financial coaching and diet consultations through Curtin at no cost to you.

Health and Wellbeing

Onsite support and monthly wellbeing incentives and activities are available to all staff. 

Childcare and School Holiday Program

The Curtin University Early Childhood Centre is located on our Bentley Campus and staffed by experienced, qualified carers available. Allowing Curtin University staff to have a place for their children whilst there at work.

The Curtin Stadium also run the Carnaby Kids Birak school holiday program.  A sports-based school holiday program that is perfect for children aged 5-13 years old who are passionate about sport, with all ability levels welcome.
